Semi-Permanent Mascara – Approach Towards Its Application

When we call the term, semi-permanent mascara, what comes to our mind is a process that helps us in freeing ourselves from the duty of getting up early to make do an important step of a makeover that is putting on mascara on our eyelashes to complete the look for the day. It’s no less than a miracle for us. Semi-Permanent Mascara is actually all what we can ask for, it’s like a dream come true, it not only helps in creating perfect eyelash curl with required thickness but also it remains uptight unto 3 to 4 weeks.

It is like an escape for those who would not want to invest their extra time in mascara for an everyday look but we know how it can totally add a lot more spark to one’s everyday charm. It is not some treatment that can be done at our homes by regulars rather it’s to be performed by a qualified professional of the field who may have experience in our eyelash processes too such as false lashes and extended lashes treatments.

Procedure

Application of semi-permanent mascara on eyelashes is a keen process to be observed as performed. It is as follows.

  • Removed Makeup

Just like any other beauty treatment, makeup must be cleared up before getting started for the semi-permanent mascara treatment.

  • Separator

For creating an obstruction between lower and upper lashes so that they may not coincide with each other while process is being done, we attach a special patch to lower eyelid, that can be used for the meeting up the requirement, it’s called a ‘separator’.

  • Primer Application

While the lower eyelids are barricaded from intrusion into upper eyelashes, upper lashes are given a smooth swish of primer for degreasing the hair, using a special brush.

  • Combing The Lashes

For making the hair strands separated and well defined, we comb the eyelashes before starting with the process.

  • Application Of Semi-Permanent Mascara

Finally the careful application of semi-permanent mascara on the inner surface of the eyelashes as for the beginning of the process. Mascara is supposed to distribute equally along all the strands of eyelashes, so it’s application must be in a swift move; in the direction of roots of the lashes to the upper tips of them. Because the mascara takes no time to get dried off and so, it must be done quickly but very carefully to get the perfect even distribution of the product. In addition, if some of those eyelashes get sticker together, tweezer can be used to treat them and separate.

After the inner side of the lashes, mascara is applied on the outer side of eyelashes too and they are separated with tweezers too. If we desire to get a more dramatic, thickened and full volume lash look, we can apply a second layer of mascara too. However, for that, first we will need to wait for first layer of mascara to dry off completely.

  • Lower Lashes Application

After the upper lashes application, lower lashes are treated with the same method but while staining both the lashes, one thing must be kept in mind that eyes must remain close during the application process.

Lashes can be lifted upwards to reach the roots of the eyelashes for a better-finished look.

  • Eyelash Bend

If the client wants a bend in the semi-permanent mascara treatment and they do not have a natural bend of lashes, then they may have to go through an additional process called ‘bio waving’ of eyes.

  • Careful Approach

Careful approach to application of semi-permanent mascara is the only approach to it, so if it cause any negative impact such as tingling, tearing off eyelashes and Itching caused in the eyes due to the product use, because if that happens, the treatment must be immediately.
