Classic lashes – Benefits and Requirements

Classic lashes are singularly applied in a 1:1 ratio on the naturally existing lashes, ideal for those who are looking for subtle and simple eye amplification. The great thing about classic lashes is how they can fit into your everyday routine–there is a classic lash material and style for everyone, and technicians always love to chat so they can tailor classic lashes to your needs! Usually these classic lashes come in 3 different designs to maximize your choices. Silk lashes are a great routine option, subtle with a slightly enamel look–they’re always a great choice for lash newbies, to get a sense of how lash extensions will look and feel on the eye. Faux mink lashes are man-made fibers that are finer than silk, so we tend to apply a few more for a fluffier set. We love faux mink for occasion lashes, or The flat lash option is fantastic for those looking for classic lash with a bit more oomph–these clever lashes are (of course) flatter at the bottom, giving the illusion of a bit more fullness.

Classic lashes also come in a variety of thicknesses, with some individual lashes longer in diameter than others for a truly customized look. Because of the 1:1 application technique, classic lashes can be applied very naturally or reasonably thickly, depending on how many natural lashes we have to work with–remember, we can only apply extensions to the natural lashes you already have, so those with naturally fine or sparse lashes may be happier looking into the volume technique.

Benefits

Self Confidence Boost

Being able to literally roll out of bed but look like you are wearing full mascara and liner is an added boost in self-confidence.

Decrease Time Getting Ready Each Morning

Classic lashes give clients just enough of a glamour boost to feel comfortable not wearing any makeup at all during their exercise classes or play dates or simply adding light foundation and brows before heading out the door to work. Not feeling the need to wear a full face of makeup translates to much less time getting ready each morning.

Say Goodbye to Mascara and Strip Lashes

There is nothing worse than mascara gone awry. Whether it’s summertime humidity that causes a raccoon eye or the last layer of mascara turning your beautiful lashes into a dry, clumpy mess, mascara always has an added level of drama to makeup. The same goes with applying false eyelashes. Unless you have been applying false lashes on yourself for a while, you know the struggle of messing with the glue, trying to get the edges to stay down and doing this all while not messing up your makeup. By investing in classic eyelash, you can say goodbye to the drama that comes with mascara and strip lashes for good.

 Aftercare

After care is imperative to longevity of extensions, try to keep them dry for 24 hrs after a full set or a fill, this will enable the adhesive to completely cure. Avoid anything oil based as it will break down the adhesive, as will salt water or chlorine. Please do not put any sort of mascara on your extended lashes, it is very difficult to clear out and can result in you losing more extensions after the next fill if not properly cleaned off. It is not the obligation of the lash artisan to clear out your lashes before every fill.
