Everyone wants a young, healthy and glowing skin and to ensure that you need to take good care of your skin because your skin demands your attention. Following are a few tips for making your skin more healthy and radiant.
Drinking a lot of water
Drinking at-least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day can help you in flushing your toxins out of your system and that refreshes your skin more than anything else. Other than refreshing it, out skin actually need enough water to stay hydrated and soft. But if won’t provide our system enough water than it’ll become dull and dry and might even form patches.
Cleansing
We must add cleansing to our daily routine to get the dirt off our faces that gets settled on our skin because of our skin exposure to pollution and sun radiations. But for cleansing we must use a face cleanser that’s suitable for our skin type instead of soap otherwise harsh chemicals like sodium carbonate, present in soaps can make our skin dry, by absorbing all the moisture content.
Exfoliation
After completing the cleansing step, use auld-scrubbing production your face. Massage it for a few minutes but with subtle hands, not too harsh because if you have sensitive skin, then it can cause rashes too. After massaging for a few minutes, rinse it with cold water. It helps in eliminating dead skin cells and dirt from your face.
Use of Sunscreen
Protecting your skin until going outside isn’t a choice but a must. So always choose a good sunscreen with SPF for outsides. A sunscreen is for protecting your skin from harmful ultraviolet radiations coming from the sun.
Balanced Diet
A balanced diet and intake of fresh fruits and vegetables can help a lot in making your skin healthier and more youthful. Junk food must be avoided at all times because it can lead to several skin problems like pimples, acne, breakouts, premature aging and blackheads etc. And keep a proper check on your diet schedule.
Age Factor
As we grow old, our skin demands for more care and attention and there are certain areas that need special care like neck, eyes and hands that starts showing signs of aging earlier than any other body part. Skin around these parts becomes loose and puffy that shows initial skins of skin aging. We need to take good care of it.
Modify Skincare Routine According to Change of Seasons
Our skin requires different type of treatment according to different seasons and Climatic changes. So, we need to switch to oil control face packs and washes and light toners during summers. For monsoons, we need opt antibacterial and deep cleansing face washes because it’s a sensitive season for skin to get harmed by bacteria. And during winters, our skin needs as much hydrating as it can get though skin care lotions nourishing toners, lip balms and other moisturizing skin care products.
Careful About Choosing Skin Care Products
Our skin is very sensitive and it must be handled carefully too so, before purchasing a skin care product, we must consult some skin specialist and only look for prescribed items because nowadays every brand is advertising for their products but not all of them are healthy to use because of the harmful chemicals that are present in them. So, either look for skin products with essential oils likes olive oils, eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil etc. Or the ones with natural ingredients.
Eliminate Use of Old Products
Don’t keep using the old products that you’ve kept on your dressing table for a long time and look at the expiry date on the product before purchasing any using any skincare product. Try not to share your personal cosmetics because it can cause health problems.
