Introduction
Hair elimination techniques are slightly like choices—everyone has a different opinion on each option. There is no perfect method to eliminate extra hair. Sugaring doesn’t necessitate paper or cloths for removal, so people prefer it over other removal methods.
It is a way better procedure of hair elimination because when you eliminate the bud, the hair will have less blood provided to it overtime, which will in turn will soften it resulting in finer hair. The client will get much less hair growth every time after the session, and the hair that will grow may be thinner and sparser. The final outcome is silky, fine skin, which lasts for 3 to 6 weeks
Art of Sugaring
Sugaring hair removal includes a sticky paste to eliminate the unwanted hair. The paste is formed up of lemon, sugar, water and is completely safe, natural, and has no irritable additives. It’s spread to any region that has the hair and is then pulled opposite to the direction of the hair growth. The sugaring paste doesn’t glue to the top layer of the skin, it doesn’t remove the live skin cells (unlike waxing, which pulls the hair at the surface). It just pulls the hair from the bud, causing it to be very effective for ingrown or wavy hair. It’s a very simple and clean cut process, which is also very advantages since it’s completely pain free for the client.
Process
Beforehand the region getting the process is cleaned and then powder is put on it to create some space between the skin and the paste. The mildly hot paste is then spread onto the skin against the hair growth direction. The hardened sugar gel is then pulled off in the same direction as the hair growth. The procedure does not require any cloth or paper strip making it an even more viable option.
Just as threading, the hair follicle begin to reduce in growth overtime due to them getting weaker each time. The hair grown later are even more thinner, sparse and finer. For the sugaring process your unwanted hair have to be at least an eighth to a quarter inch long for the sugar paste to be able to perfectly attach to them and pull them off with no problem without causing any pain.
What Body Areas Can Be Sugared?
Sugaring is a soft process and great for sensitive skin so it can basically be applied to any part of the body.
- Underarms: A professional cosmetician can do the procedure for your underarms in less then five minutes.
- Arms: varying on how long the arm strands are, it can be done in about a half and hour.
- Bikini/Brazilian: during sugaring this region, it can still be done during the menstrual cycle, the skin may be more delicate though. This region usually takes between 30 to 45 minutes to sugar.
- Legs: here the procedure might be a little longer for a larger area like the legs—expect the session to take about 45 minutes.
The sugaring process does not hurt at all. It’s because the sugaring paste does not stick to the skin anyways. The paste only glues to the hair and the dead skin cells and only pulls the hair away causing no kind of pain. Unlike the waxing process where the wax also sticks to the skin causing mild pain.
