What is sugaring?
Sugaring is a painless hair elimination method. Its very different from the usual waxing, sugaring does not necessitate paper strips. The cosmetician only use a special gel made of sugar, lemon juice, and water. Using their own hands, the cosmetician spreads the mixture onto the skin in the direction other than the hair growth and lets it stick into the hair for a few seconds. The mixtures hardens a bit and gets slightly solid. Then it’s pulled off to keep the hair intact and prevent breakage while completely removing it from the skin. The normal wax solidifies on the hair, it has the trait to break it off at the tip, rather than pull it out. The traditional waxing can actually leave 20 percent of breakage behind. With sugaring’s more painless method, hair grows back less and softer.
What is in the sugaring paste?
As told before, the sugaring paste is created out of sugar, lemon juice, and water—and nothing else. There are no toxins, perfume, or coloring added. It’s also friendly for people with allergies, making it a better option for ultra-sensitive skin. It is very natural, and is even surprising edible because of how safe it is. Traditional wax is heated to make it into a semi-solid and is applied while it’s fairly hot. This can lead to slight redness and burns and even rarely causes scarring.
During summer’s, more people tend to dress in flowy and short clothes which means, that it is hair-removal season. Hair removal can usually be painful, expensive, time consuming by other methods but with sugaring it’s very fast, affordable and fast.
