If your consultation determines that you are a suitable candidate for laser hair removal, and if you’re not currently tanned, your technician will perform a patch test. Patch tests must take place at least 24hrs before your laser treatment. We apply the laser to a small part of the target area and monitor.

Please note that regardless of whether you had laser hair removal on some other areas of your body, for every single new area, we need to perform a new patch test.

This is because your skin may be more sensitive in some areas, and to prevent any possible side effects. Additionally, regardless of whether you had laser treatment elsewhere previously, we still need to make a patch test, as the technology, circumstances, and your condition might be changed since then. If your skin is suitable for laser treatment, we will make your treatment plan and book you for your first laser appointment.

During your laser treatment, your technician will  respect your privacy. Even when you are having laser treatment on your bikini area, you will always be covered with towels and your technician will only uncover the areas that are being treated at the time.

• Make sure that you have between 4-6 weeks full hair growth before your first session
• No tweezing, waxing, bleaching, plucking at least 2 weeks before treatment
• Avoid any tanning
• Leave at least 4 weeks before getting you laser treatment if your skin is tanned
• Clean the treatment area before your session. Don’t use any cosmetic creams before your session
• Shave 24 hours before your laser appointment, not on the treatment day
• Avoid caffeine
• Prefer, wear loose clothes for your treatment
• Most importantly, relax, you’re in safe hands

• Skin may be slightly drier a few hours after a may require a moisturizer
• Wash gently mild soap and warm water twice daily
• Avoid tweezing, waxing, plucking and electrolysis
• Avoid picking or scratching the treated area
• Shaving is fine between laser treatment
• Avoid direct sunlight/solar waves
• Sunscreen should be applied daily
• Avoid tanning for a week or two week after treatment
• Hair shafts will be released from hair follicles in the treated area for a week or weeks after treatment. No action is necessary but may gently shave the area if you wish

Aloe Vera gel will apply to the treated areas after treatment, or if you prefer to apply yourself we will provide you gel.

Anywhere from 5-30 days after treatment, shedding of the hair may occur and this may appear as new hair growth. This is not new hair growth, but dead hair pushing its way out of the follicle. This is normal and you can help the hair exfoliate by wash or wiping with a washcloth.
