What Are Russian 5D Volume Lash Extensions?

There are range of lashes. For instance for 3D lash, 3 very thin lashes attached to one natural lash and so on. I’m this type of Russian eyelash extensions where small fans of 5 lashes are applied to one of your natural lashes. This definitely creates thick and very dense volume lashes. These lashes are finer and lighter than classic lashes. They giver fuller look. So if you want a dramatic look, go for 5D.

Russian Volume Lashes Materials

Usually classic lash extensions are made of natural and synthetic materials. Meanwhile Russian lashes are made of ultra-fine synthetic fiber. This fiber is most commonly known as faux mink. They are made to be thinner to gibe lighter look. Since more lashes are applied to one natural lash that’s why it is preferred that they should be light.

Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions Thickness

Russian volume lash extensions are made of very fine lash extensions. The thicknesses for eyelash extensions is 0.03mm – 0.10mm. 

On the other hand classic lashes ranged from 0.15mm or 0.20mm in diameter.

After Care

Remember eyelashes grow  just like nails. This means that your 5D set of lash will begin to give less full over few weeks.

After 2 – 3 weeks you will most likely required a maintenance appointment only if you wish to keep them looking their best even after weeks. A noticeable shedding will be observed daily, so do not be alarmed as this is perfectly normal and usual. Your natural eyelashes also sheds everyday but it is very  less noticeable.

Clients returning for infills must return with at least 50% of their set remaining. It is because if they will have lesser lashed this will be classed as a full set. So full set fee will apply.

At an infill tech takes off extensions from grown out and twisted lashes. They replace those extensions that have naturally shed with your natural lashes.

Humans shed approximately 2-5 natural eyelashes per upper lid of one eye each day (taking out average at 3 per day), and your lash artist will apply approximately 100 extensions to the suitable natural lashes of each eye. 

Observations

General loss pattern observed Is:

After 7 days – lose 21 extensions

After 14 days -lose 42 extensions

After 21 days – lose 63 extensions

Therefore

after 3 weeks – lost over half the set

Normal to lose- 5 extensions per eye within the first 24 hours

Please don’t worry about that.

Conclusion

After 24 hours please keep your extensions clean . Clean them gently, as instructed by your lash technician. You’ll be given a designated lash cleanser for better cleansing. Bodily oils that crawl onto your extensions cause break down  of adhesive if not cleaned properly. Failure to clean your lashes will not only cause  poor retention. It will also  build up of bacteria. Which leads to eye infections.
