Pre-Treatment
To begin with, a patch test is required at least 2 days prior to your treatment. Avoid exfoliation of the brow area 3-4 days before to your treatment. Also, steer away from direct sunlight or sunbeds at least 2 days prior to your procedure to reduce skin sensitivity. Moreover, It is advised not to use any fake tanning products on the face for around a week either side of the treatment. So, if you do want to use a false tanning product, apply a barrier to the hair and a small patch around the brow before tanning to prevent discoloration of your tint. Also, steer clear of any skin peels 4-6 weeks prior to your process. Also, the procedure should be carried out at least 7 days after any derma planning treatments, or 14 days after any micro needling, if done
How Brow Lamination Works
This amazing treatment, three-step procedure takes about an hour from start to finish. First, your brows are wiped clear and a lifting solution treatment is applied which eases the hair. A piece of plastic wrap is then drawn over brows while letting the solution sit for about 10 minutes or more, varying on the thickness of your brows. Since some brow hairs are relatively coarse, let it sit for a few extra minutes to ensure the proper treatment.
Then, a fixing solution is treated, and the brows are combed upwards in a similar way when applying a brow gel. The cling is applied again for another 10-12 minutes while the fixing solution closes the hair follicle and prevents them from processing. Then shape the brows using tweezers and use a nourishing cream at the end to give brows that extra sheen.

Is There Anyone Who Shouldn’t Get Their Brows Laminated?
Lamination should be feasible to “anyone and everyone” as long as your skin does not react adversely to the formula (which is why you should always ask your stylist to take a patch test to begin with). It all comes down to what type of brow hair one naturally have, which governs how long the first and second steps will be left on your eyebrows: longer time duration for coarser, curly brows and shorter treatment time for fine, thin brows.
