Eyebrow lamination is a unique, innovative beauty procedure which has succeeded to grow in popularity, re enacting the fiery look of thick, lush brows. Brow lamination is amazing for ones who digs a ‘brushed-up’ look but can’t seem to shape their brow hair, may be because of it being too straight or fine.
Will It Damage My Brows?
Not at all, the eyebrow hair will not get harmed in any way. All of our technicians are certified and adequately trained.
Brow lamination products are NOT same as that of Perming products. Lash perm is too strong for use on the brow hair and can cause over processing of the eyebrow. Lash Perm has not been safely tested on use on skin as of yet and may cause a chain of reactions once used on Brow Hair.
Is Brow Lamination the Same as A Lift?
Eyebrow lamination technique is very similar to a perm for eyebrow hair; resembling the well-known lash lift procedure. Both are the ways of enhancing what you already have, by treating the hairs with harmless chemicals. The procedure is often referred with a brow tint for a thicker enchanted look.
It’s quite common for clients to go for both lash lift and brow lamination procedures simultaneously since they’re both great for enhancing your existing brows.
It’s Typically a Three-Step Process
The first step, is very similar to that of a perm, lifting and easing the brows. Step two, uses variable ingredients like aloe and castor oil to neutralize brow hairs. While step three uses keratin and other ESSENTIAL oils to hydrate and nourish hair.
“Whilst step one is carried out, this hints a chemical process, that breaks down the bonds in each of the brow hairs, giving them room to form or freely take a new shape or style,” our technicians suggests. “When step two is being done, those bonds settles and reforms into their new shape.”
The Treatment Takes Less Than an Hour
If your beautician performs the eyebrow lamination process safely and carefully, the treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes. This makes sure that every step is being performed accurately with the correct timing.
Results Last Up to Eight Weeks
Brow lamination has astounding staying power, thus results may last up to eight weeks. This generally includes lasting results throughout day activities and showering alike. However, it is noted that procedure need to be carried out regularly in order to maintain your brow shape, as the more you have this service performed, the better your hair begins to relax and laminate.
Maintenance is Important
It is encouraged to use makeup and skin care products with our caution guidelines on post-lamination, since it is better to wait at least a day after your brow treatment. Similarly, our technicians advises applying the same concept to skincare, as you’ll also want to avoid using retinol and exfoliating products 72 before and after your treatment.
