How to Perfectly Conceal Dark Circles

We’re living in a world where everything revolves around time, and time waits for none, and in order to keep up with the rest of the world, we work hard, even harder that we get tired of doing our jobs repeatedly. We barely care if it’s day or night, and keep going with our routine work. The biggest factor that gets to us because of this cause, is that our eyes get dark circles around them and that makes our face look weak and tiresome. It’s said that beauty sleep is necessary for glow of your face but when you can’t get enough sleep, you get dark circles.

As we know that dark circles ruin our image and therefore its necessary to conceal those dark circles with concealer there are many brands for concealers but only a few works best. There is this process through which concealer becomes able enough to completely satisfy your concerns for dark circles.

Conceal: step 1

First of all what you need is a concealer and your ability to apply it underneath and around your eyes, where dark circles have darkened the area. Dark circles are often blue or gray in color so what you need to do is look for the color opposite to these on the color wheel, it’s often peach or orange. For fair skin complexion, light peach to medium peach works best. For medium to dark skin tones, usually dark peach or orange is used. Choose the color of concealer that’s 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone so that it can actually hide your dark circles. Concealer is suppose to be applied in a upside down triangle by the use of your ring finger, low enough that it covet the area under the eyes, perfectly.

Blend: step 2

After you have applied you concealer under your eyes, the orange color doesn’t go well with the skin tone as it seem at first, but it’s time that you blend it out with your fingers for as long as the peach/orange disappears. After that dot the foundation that you use in accordance with your skin type and tone, but be gentle in the area of your eyes, where you have already applied orange concealer because you don’t want your concealer to come off while blending the concealer into your foundation to make them even.

Brighten: step 3 (Optional)

Some people have really deep dark circles and sometimes concealing them with the foundation isn’t just enough so for that you can always brighten your under eyes with a lighter concealer. But this time you’ll need a concealer with thin consistency such as Maybelline Fit Me or Revlon Age Defying concealer. When you’re choosing this type of concealer, choose the one that’s lighter than your skin tone to light it up. Place some drops of this concealer under your eye and blend them with soft dome brush.

Set: step 4

For finally setting the concealer on your eyes, you need to apply something on it. If you can have dry skin, then you may skip the option of using face powder fit this purpose and rather use a matte eyeshadow that’s again two shades lighter than your skin tone on your concealed look. By using the same soft dome brush, apply the thin layer of eyeshadow to your concealed eyes, and prevent them from creasing throughout the day. You can also use face powder and it’s a really good option for those who don’t have dry skin.
